“When I have a camera in my hand, I know no fear.” Alfred Eisenstaedt
It’s true. I once stood on a small platform six feet in the air. It doesn’t sound like much but that platform was just big enough to hold my two feet and there were no straps or safety harnesses. I leaned over a cage and photographed an entire MMA fight night. It was one of the coolest things that I’ve ever done but it was a little crazy. Especially in the moment that the fighters directly hit my pole and almost sent me flying. In that moment, I grab the edge in the knick of time, regained my balance, and kept photographing. I truly had no fear.
I was born and raised in Florida. I met my husband in Daytona Beach and we married in 1994. We have 3 boys together and live on a mini farm just 10 minutes away from Fleming Island, Florida. It’s definitely not a traditional farm but it’s a place where our boys can get dirty, our chickens can roam free, and our cats and dog have plenty to do!
